Come back to mine...
Come back to mine...
Back To Mine, the new single from Phoebe Hurst is released today. This is the first single from her debut EP, due for release in May 2014.
Based in Wellington, New Zealand, Phoebe Hurst ‘Lady of Loops’ is an upcoming talent in the New Zealand music scene, with a high impact and dynamic live set, with powerhouse vocals and charismatic presence to match.
Utilising the art of live looping, Phoebe layers hand claps, harmonies, vocal ticks and cries, giving you a slap in the face you kind of enjoy.
Back To Mine, "a quirky, tongue in cheek ode to the one-night stand (sorry Mum)" was co-produced by Phoebe and Paddy Bleakely (aka Paddy Fred) in collaboration with production house Cuba Creative. It was mixed at Organik Musik Workz and mastered by Mike Gibson.
Phoebe will be gigging throughout the summer of 2013/2014, performing in a double bill mini tour with loop artist Adam Page and she is also part of the line-up at Jim Beam Homegrown next year.
