SILO Announces New Business Partnership with Milford

Silo Theatre Trust is thrilled to confirm Milford Asset Management as a major new sponsor as the company heads into its 2014 artistic season.

The sponsorship deal sees the multi-award winning, New Zealand-owned funds management company become the theatre company’s Principal Partner.

Milford Asset Management joins a group of long-standing sponsorship partners, including major funders Creative New Zealand, ASB Community Trust, the Lion Foundation and Auckland Council.

Milford’s sponsorship of Silo represents a significant new partnership for the company and an exciting opportunity for both organisations.

“Silo has built a strong brand and is one of New Zealand’s leading producers of contemporary theatre. Their talent, passion for performance and desire to grow are a great fit for Milford and our clients. We are very pleased to be able to support Silo” said Milford’s Managing Director, Anthony Quirk.

Built on common ground, Milford and Silo are well matched in terms of core values and brand fit – both are highly regarded for their quality and outstanding performance.

“Milford is proud of the high standards it has set for investor experience” Silo’s executive director Jessica Smith explains. “Likewise, Silo is dedicated to providing a premium experience for our key stakeholders, audience and the artists the company engages. We both see ourselves as high achievers in our respective sectors that prize excellence in performance. ”

Silo Theatre Trust chair Rick Carlyon adds that Milford’s support for Silo both extremely welcome and very significant.

“Milford is genuinely interested in the vital role we play in Auckland’s theatre scene. Their multi-year financial contribution will help us achieve some exciting aspirations we have to further develop our position as a leading producer of world-class contemporary theatre,” he says.
