Enjoy Public Art Gallery welcomes Emma Ng
Enjoy Public Art Gallery welcomes Emma Ng
We would like to extend our warmest welcome to Emma Ng who is joining us as our new Manager/Curator.
Emma Ng is a young curator, after completing a Bachelor of Design Innovation and an Honours degree in Art History at Victoria University, she was selected as The Dowse Art Museum's 2013 Blumhardt Curatorial Intern. While at The Dowse Emma has been curating Everyday Fiction, an exhibition scheduled for February 2014.
Everyday Fiction brings together artists, jewellers, designers, and architects who are working speculatively to imagine the detail of everyday life in unfamiliar times and places. Previously she has worked at the Auckland Art Gallery and volunteered at Victoria's Adam Art Gallery.
Her role at Enjoy is her first opportunity to steer the direction of the gallery and help shape its vision. Emma looks forward to bringing an engaging and artist-centric focus to her curatorial activity at Enjoy.
