NZ's Rubin Statham announced as final Heineken Open wild card
Organisers of the NZ Festival of Tennis are excited to announce that New Zealand men's tennis number one Rubin Statham, will take the final Heineken Open wild card.
Statham was due to enter the qualifying rounds this weekend, but will now proceed through to the main draw which begins this Monday 6 January.
The 26-year-old has had a busy year, playing throughout Asia and Australia, as well as in the NZ Davis Cup team in September against the Philippines.
The Heineken Open Draw Ceremony takes places this morning at 11am.
