The Apron Strings the 13 piece ukulele band, Paul Vincent Cambridge musician and dozens of stall holders offering exclusive shopping opportunities including plants, clothing, crafts and arts for sale.

About Piako
Fete
Organisers Lynsey Champion, one of NZ’s
finest cloth hat makers, and Michelle Lewis, a graphic
designer started plotting their ideal pre-Christmas day out
when the Ellerslie Flower Show moved to Christchurch leaving
a void for a North Island Ladies Day Out.
In 2012 the Waiheke based duo teamed up with Daltons Plantation to host the inaugural Piako Fete in Matamata, the epicentre of the North Island, almost.
Modelled on the supremely successful fetes in the South Island, which Lynsey has attended several times as a stallholder, their aim is for the Piako Fete to become a well established annual event and earn the title of the ultimate Ladies Day Out.
A donation from profits will be made to the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust.
