Kiwi Fashion Blogger Rounds up Hottest Swedish Summer Trends

Top Kiwi Fashion Blogger Rounds up Hottest Swedish Summer Trends

Swedish cider Rekorderlig partners with Katherine Lowe to bring Sweden’s top summer trends to Kiwis

Iconic Kiwi fashion blogger, Katherine Lowe, has collaborated with Swedish cider brand, Rekorderlig to bring New Zealanders the latest summer trends direct from the streets of Sweden, just in time for ours. The collaboration marks the launch of Rekorderlig’s delicious new summer variants, exclusive to New Zealand; Lemon-Lime, Passionfruit-Lime and Forest Berries.

Renowned for her trend-spotting skills, the popular photographer and fashion blogger has curated Rekorderlig’s ‘Collection of a Swedish Summer’ look-book that showcases the ten hottest ‘Beautifully Swedish’ trends. Everything from wardrobe must-haves to luxe lifestyle items that are a must to get you through a long, hot summer; all to be accessorised with the latest cool and refreshing ciders from Rekorderlig’s collection, of course.

From coats worn as capes to wide cropped pants, and wide-brimmed fedoras to full midi-length skirts, Lowe has taken cues from the recent Stockholm Fashion Week and carefully selected the must-have pieces for men and women that will be turning heads this season.

Fresh from trend-spotting at both New York and New Zealand Fashion Week, Lowe said although Swedes and Kiwis have a lot in common when it comes to fashion, Kiwis could be braver with their fashion choices.

“Swedes are known for their classic minimalist, but slightly edgy, style which I often see on the streets of New Zealand, so I’m sure Kiwis will love the fresh and modern looks coming out of Sweden this summer. I’d love to see Kiwis be super brave this summer, owning white on white looks (which I personally love) and opting for wide, cropped pants instead of skinny. One of my favourite trends is the full midi skirt - I've just invested in my third one so you'll be seeing me in that with Rekorderlig in hand to keep me cool, figuratively and literally, summer!” says Lowe.

“Katherine is a fashion icon and trend-leader in her own right. With her eye for style on a global stage, she has identified the latest looks from the Swedish summer to bring a touch of Sweden to Kiwi wardrobes and lifestyles this season.

“The trends that she has curated mirror the essence of our amazing new range of flavours. There’s something for everyone and every occasion this summer.”
The new range of Rekorderlig Premium ciders have an RRP of $5.99 per 500ml bottle, and are available in supermarkets, selected bars and liquor stores from October.
