The Faith Journey of a Modern Heretic: Sir Lloyd Geering
Media Release
The Faith Journey of a Modern Heretic: Sir Lloyd Geering's most recent book
Described by the BBC as "the last living heretic", Lloyd Geering has spent much of his life wrestling with God. Of late, however, he finds himself struggling with the absence of God. The rise of non-religious secular culture around the world testifies that he is not alone, that the concept of God has become problematical. In this engaging collection of essays, "Reimagining God", Geering embraces key developments in the Western understanding of God.
The launch event will take place in St. Andrew's on The Terrace, Wellington, at 6:30pm on Friday November 7th. All welcome.
