Westfield Kicks Off Christmas with National Event
Westfield Kicks Off Christmas with National Event
The
official festive season is just around the corner and to
celebrate this magical time for Kiwi kids around the
country, Westfield Centres will kick off the festivities
with Santa’s Welcoming Party weekend, the official launch
of Christmas.
The most memorable magical moment of Santa’s Welcoming Party weekend is the arrival of Santa himself, with eight of the nine centres arranging a surprise welcoming for Santa in their own special way.
Santa’s Welcoming Party weekend runs from Friday 21st November until Sunday 23rd November and will help spread the joy of Christmas to the local communities of each centre with a lineup of special guests, gifts for children in the community and Christmas activities throughout the weekend.
From Santa’s Welcoming Party weekend, Kiwis will also have the chance to give a gold coin donation at the gift wrapping booths and support the benefactors of Westfield’s gift wrapping service – KidsCan and the Child Cancer Foundation. In a national effort, Westfield is supporting two children’s charities who both experience the increased need for support at Christmas, whether they are on the cancer journey or living in poverty.
Kiwis can also support families in need at Christmas by texting the keyword ‘GIFT’ to 2448 to donate $3 to KidsCan and the Child Cancer Foundation.
