TVNZ Seeking Independent Production Bids
TVNZ is today requesting proposals from independent producers for outsourced production of its stable of Maori and Pacific programmes.
TVNZ’s plan to outsource the programmes, with the exception of Te Karere, was announced a month ago, subject to further discussion with staff, funding agencies and industry and community groups.
Interested production companies will have until November 28 to submit their responses, which will be considered by TVNZ in consultation with the funders in the following weeks.
Request for Proposal documents, setting out the criteria for selection for both Maori programming and Pacific programming, are available on these links:

The documents have also been circulated to production houses, industry groups SPADA and Nga Aho Whakaari and the Pacific Island Media Association.
