Gallery and Shop opens doors for December
From December 1st for one month a pop-up art shop and gallery will open its doors to the public in Market Street, Hastings from 10-4 every day and late night Thursdays to coincide with the Night Market.
All the artwork is produced by local amateur artists with a diverse range of themes and media to appeal to a wide range of age groups. The artworks include pencil sketches, acrylics, watercolour, oils and mixed media and there are also a few sculptures and smaller items such as handmade gifts, candles and cards. The gallery is run by the artists so you can find out more about the paintings and their creators.
The reasonably priced artworks range from $3 to $500 and if anything appeals offers are encouraged. This cash only pop-up shop has some great Christmas gifts for loved ones and on Tuesday Mornings the gallery will have some artists in action, painting on site.
The pop-up gallery can be found on Market Street in the old ‘Alpaca Gift Shop’.
