Giesen Wines in limelight with The Hobbit
5 December- New Zealand’s Giesen Wines were
tasted by the stars at the World Premier in London of The
Hobbit’s third and final movie.
The 450 guests were
treated to The Brothers Sauvignon Blanc and The Brothers
Pinot Noir.
Giesen sponsored the holding room for The Hobbit cast after they left the red carpet and their wines were also poured at the VIP exclusive after party of the night.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for us to present our wines on the world stage. Giesen Wines have a growing presence in the UK, and we’ve just been stocked in Harrods. There’s growing international recognition not just for our white wines but the wonderful Pinot Noir being produced out of Marlborough,” said Roscoe Johanson, Giesen’s Brand and Hospitality Manager.
In Australia, Giesen is completing its own trilogy, having poured their wines at all the Premiers of the three Hobbit movies.
