Magazine’s special issue celebrates Auckland City success
The supporter group Friends of Football has published a special edition of its digital magazine to mark the success of Auckland City at the FIFA Club World Cup in Morocco.
The 44-page full colour publication FANZ: The Football Magazine is available free to football supporters in a digital format.
It is available at http://issuu.com/hurricanepress/docs/fanz_2.
Friends of Football launched their magazine as a quarterly publication in early December but promised to public special editions if anything exceptional happened in the sport.
“Almost immediately, Auckland City surprised everyone in Morocco to take third place in the world’s biggest tournament for football clubs,” editor Josh Easby said.
Friends of Football has had a positive response from supporters to its new magazine with it being downloaded all over the world, as well as throughout New Zealand.
“It shows the amount of interest in New Zealand football and has definitely filled a gap,” Easby said.
