Multi-million dollar motorrng event at Ellerslie Sunday
It’s a car buff’s heaven in Auckland today as around 800 classic cars go on show at Ellerslie Race Course for the New Zealand’s largest annual car event.
Organised by some 75 car clubs, the forty-second Ellerslie Intermarque Concours showcases some of the best restored cars and unrestored “survivors” from around the country.
Many have taken years to restore to literally better than new condition and are valued at millions of dollars (six million dollars in one instance).
The work of New Zealand’s vehicle restoration industry is internationally acclaimed and attracts rare and classic cars from owners around the world – winning honours in top international competitions.
Exotic and high performance latest models from leading prestige car makers will also be on show.
