Elton’s party in Wellington just got bigger!

New Zealand’s Sol3 Mio to Join Elton John on Stage.

Thousands of seats have already sold to Elton John’s concert at Westpac Stadium in November but promoters Capital C: Concerts have just stepped it up a whole level making it the ‘not to be missed’ event of the year.

Promoter Phil Sprey says, “The Capital hasn’t had a major concert in the Stadium for four years and we wanted to make the return visit to the city by Sir Elton John and his band into a mind-blowing experience.”

“Historically we have always had a New Zealand band or singer open for our visiting artists, many who are not well known but that is not the case this time and we are bringing the biggest artist globally together with one of our own rising superstars.”

After a sold out national tour and becoming one of the country’s top selling artist in 2014, the classically trained trio were a natural selection to complement legendary Elton John.

Comprising two tenors and a baritone Sol3 Mio has an infectious sense of humour, a repartee with an audience that comes from their strong Samoan roots and a repertoire spanning numerous genre. These acclaimed artists have already become household names with a string of live and recorded successes.
