Saturday 07 March 2015: It’s kapa haka saturation this week with Te Matatini 2015 in Christchurch live on television, radio and the internet. The national Maori performing arts competition has been going for 40 years, and seems to be stronger than ever. This week we talk with long-time kapa haka performer Te Rita Papesch about the standard of performance, and how it has evolved over the past 40 years.

Sunday 08 March 2015: Kim Dotcom’s "Moment of Truth" revelations may not have made the intended impact on last year’s election campaign, but the latest release from whistleblower Edward Snowden’s trove of National Security Agency documents seems to show that New Zealand is spying on its Pacific neighbours on behalf of the United States. We catch up with Tame Itiwho knows all about being spied on who says they've been doing it for ages.

Korero Mai Ki Ahau a half hour features programme every Saturday and Sunday from noon, which takes an in – depth look at issues affecting te ao Maori. Totally in te reo Maori brought to you by Waatea News in association with Te Mangai Paho.
