“Dirty Martini, International Burlesque Star, Comes to Wellington for Cabaret Royale”

Get ready to be shaken and stirred: international dancer Dirty Martini will be bestowing a lavish, sensuous burlesque performance on Wellington this April 26th.at Cabaret Royale.

Dirty Martini’s combination of skilled dance, sumptuous costuming, and sexy wit led the New York Times to declare her one of the “most creative strippers”. She has been Miss Exotic World 2004 – shared the stage with Dita von Teese in Strip Strip Hooray – and modelled for designer Karl Lagerfield and Vogue magazine. She is in New Zealand as the headliner for the Miss Burlesque New Zealand competition in Auckland. Dirty Martini’s sought after workshops and one on one mentoring sessions are also available in Wellington on Saturday the 25th of April.

Cabaret Royale has more performers from the top shelf of Wellington burlesque: Fanciforia Foxglove (recently profiled in FishHead magazine), Miss Burlesque NZ 2012 Willow Noir, Felix Goodfellow, Moxie Fizz, Miss Tasty Tingle, Honey Bee, and La Femme Fantail. And our hostess for the evening is the larger than life, hilariously camp drag diva Felicity Frockaccino,
