New Zealand Latter-day Saints honour past and present servicemen and servicewomen
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND — New Zealanders, Australians and others are pausing today to remember and give thanks for family members and others who currently serve their nation in the military or who have done so in years past.
At one Anzac Day service this morning — at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' meetinghouse in Pah Road, Royal Oak, Aucklan — Elder O. Vincent Haleck and Sister Peggy Haleck joined with government, church and community leaders and members of the Church to mark the special day.
