Gilbert Partners with Netball’s ANZ futureFERNS

Netball New Zealand (NNZ) is pleased to announce Gilbert as the official supplier of balls and equipment to ANZ futureFERNS, Netball’s official new junior programme.

Gilbert is the official ball partner to NNZ and the Silver Ferns, the ANZ Championship and the International Netball Federation. They have a long and proud history of innovative ball technology and equipment that has ensured its market-leading status since 1823.

They offer a comprehensive range of match and training netballs to suit all playing levels and have a full range of Netball accessories including bibs, whistles, ball pumps, and training accessories.

Netball New Zealand Chief Executive Hilary Poole says having a market leader like Gilbert on board to provide all balls and equipment for the new junior programme is exciting.

“Netball and Gilbert are synonymous with each other here in New Zealand,” she said.

“With most Netball Centres in the country offering the ANZ futureFERNS programme to childen in Year 1-4 this season, we are thrilled that Gilbert balls and equipment will be used to ensure consistent quality of the programme.”

The partnership announcement comes after ANZ were revealed as naming rights sponsor of the ANZ futureFERNS programme and Mother Earth were announced as associate partner.
