‘Matariki Mix-It Opening Night Show’
MHF invites you to join us in an opening night extravaganza of music, dance and film, celebrating the release of brand new Māori media at TE POU.
Be the first to experience a taster from the MHF Māori television TV series ‘Ma Tika’ and see a live performance by Mika X of Los Angeles Pride & SXSW festival entrant ‘Taniwha’. ‘Matariki Mix-it’ showcases some of New Zealand’s hottest talent, including live music and performances by former True bliss member Megan Alatini, Hip Hop dance crew BBOY In-stance movement, a self devised contemporary number from dancer Roimata Holmes and a special performance by 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Festival POP-UP Kapa Haka act, Taki Māori.
The evening will be topped off with new Māori musical talents, who will take the stage to celebrate the launch of their brand new Album’s- Nga Whetu & Rangatahi Tu Rangatira.
