Epic Proportions for Cabaret
TAPAC — The Auckland Performing Arts Centre — has launched a PledgeMe fundraising campaign for its red carpet revamp project and can now announce details of a star-studded night of top class entertainment.
“As Auckland’s leading performing arts education centre supporting emerging and established artists we sometimes need a little help, and our wonderful arts community is coming together for a night of fundraising — a beautiful cabaret evening of epic proportions.
“Don McGlashan is the headline act following the Supergroove Boys from Hopetoun Brown, Kirsten Morrell, Ora Lefebvre, Cover Lover, Little Cello Box and in-house band Prayas” says organiser Morell.
The event kicks off on July 12 at 4pm at Tapac in Western Springs opposite Auckland Zoo main entrance.
“We’re a celebrated, unique and much loved performing arts facility for Auckland that affirms and celebrates cultural collaboration and creative diversity through artistic excellence, creative freedom, arts education and community development. It’s a busy vibrant hub!” she says.
