HOT6 Curry Eating Competition to win three months of
bottomless curry!
Think you could take on six of the hottest Indian dishes in the world as prepared by Urban Turban’s Executive Chef Kedar Anthwall?
“Indian food is relatively new to New Zealand compared to say the UK, where it’s been around for centuries, so I’m looking forward to seeing what Kiwis can handle,” he says.
To enter, order and finish the seriously hot and delicious HOT6 Chicken at Urban Turban Restaurant Wynyard Quarter between Thursday 25 June until Saturday 25 July and you’re into the HOT6 Curry Eating Competition, midday Sunday 26 July.
Entrants will compete in six rounds of 10 minutes each, starting with the Hot6 Chicken and consuming a bowl of curry increasing in intensity each round. No rice or naan is allowed and only water is supplied. The last remaining contestant will win three months of bottomless curry at Urban Turban*.
Bound to draw a large crowd of spectators, the competition will be hosted and judged by competitive eaters Devo Dvious, 2015 winner of the Sals Pizza eating competition and fastest male competitor at Mad Mex 1 kilo Burrito challenge 2014/15.
