Treble Cone (Wanaka, New
Zealand) officially opened for the 2015 snow season today,
with the entire mountain open, great snow cover, bluebird
weather, and lots of happy locals, staff and
guests.
Opening Day highlights included a Volkl Demo Day, Icebreaker giving away a hundred prizes, free Amisfield bubbly on the Plaza, and live music throughout the afternoon, however the real hero of the day was the snow coverage across the entire mountain, the groomed trails and the weather.
Guests enjoyed a first look at the new Cheeky Kea Burger Bar and Cafe in the Base Building, along with a revitalised Triple Treat Ready-to-Eat cafe in the Base Building offering new menu items and an additional barista station making grabbing an Allpress espresso coffee easier and faster.
