ATEEDs Hobsonville Point Screen Precinct proposal
Techos Guild supports ATEEDs Hobsonville Point Screen Precinct proposal.
The New Zealand Film and Video Technicians Guild would like to extend their full support and assistance to ATEED for the proposed development of purpose built film studios at the Hobsonville Point site west of Auckland.
The Guild believes that there is an urgent need for a purpose built studio complex and if successful, this project will create an exciting and more vibrant local and national film industry, able to sustain long term filming projects and shorter commercial productions. The jobs that this infrastructure would create over the next twenty years will have a positive impact for Auckland, and will attract a multitude of local facility providers, national and international producers, and film crew to one purpose built hub.
