2 months to go until Rugby World Cup 2015


Tomorrow’s game against Argentina is a sneak preview of the All Blacks’ opening game of Rugby World Cup 2015 and many fans will be watching with the knowledge that in two short months they will be experiencing rugby’s showcase event first hand.

Melissa Thompson will be cheering on her beloved All Blacks at AMI Stadium in Christchurch tonight and will also be travelling with All Blacks Tours to Rugby World Cup 2015.

“I’m counting down the days,” says Melissa who also travelled with All Blacks Tours to see the team play their historic game in Chicago last year. “I’ve followed the All Blacks across New Zealand and other parts of the world but to witness them attempt history in some of the world’s great rugby stadiums will be a once in a life time experience.”

Melissa will be joining more than four thousand passionate fans that are travelling with All Blacks Tours to Rugby World Cup 2015.

The Tournament kicks-off on 18 September, where a spectacular Opening Ceremony is planned, followed by the opening match between England and Fiji at Twickenham Stadium.

The All Blacks’ first pool match will be against Argentina at Wembley Stadium, followed by games against Namibia, Georgia and Tonga.

Eleven cities across England and Wales will play host to the hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the globe, including a large Kiwi contingent hoping to see the All Blacks make history with back-to-back wins of the Webb Ellis Cup.

General Manager David Caldwell says excitement is building for fans joining All Blacks Tours in England.

“The final stage of preparation for our tours is shaping up well, and demand for packages continues to be high. Our message to those who haven’t yet booked is to get in quick, as there is only a limited number of packages remaining,” says Mr Caldwell.
