Bay’s Cafes Reveal exciting Brunch dishes

The best of the region’s cafes and eateries are right behind a new culinary event, the Total Food Equipment Best Brunch in the Bay. Cafes from Waipkurau to Westshore and everywhere in between have submitted their entry to organiser Food Hawke’s Bay. From Friday 14th August until Sunday 23rd August the dining public can indulge in the delicious Brunch dishes on offer, then vote for their favourite Brunch dish.

Principal sponsor Total Food Equipment’s owner Mike Mc Lay said “this new event is a wonderful opportunity for smaller eateries and cafes to showcase their Brunch creativity. The event is an invitation for families and friends to get together and enjoy an affordable and accessible eating out option and Total Food Equipment is pleased to support the concept”.

Organiser’s Food Hawke’s Bay are delighted with the response from participating cafes and also from the public who are eager to try the Brunch dishes and then vote. Enabling the public to have their say by text voting adds to the excitement for Brunch goers and voters go in a draw to win a fabulous prize package valued at over $800.

Adele Fitzgerald, from Food Hawke’s Bay said “the cafes have put forward some really tantalising dishes with intriguing, fun names that will certainly prove irresistible, who wouldn’t want to try “Humpty Dumpty’s Plan Hatched”! At the same time, the dishes are making great use of local supplier’s products”.
