Ahio's Bout to Be Broadcast to 40 Million People
Ahio's Bout to Be Broadcast to 40 Million People.
Kiwi
heavyweight sensation, Hemi Ahio, is calm and focused ahead
of his Australian television debut on Danny Green's
undercard in Melbourne tonight, despite being broadcast to a
huge television audience.
The star-studded event will not only be packed to the 8,000 capacity Hisense Arena, rafters and screened live to Australia and New Zealand, but it will be broadcast across China on CCTV5 and expected to be viewed by more than 40 million people.
But the power punching Heavyweight prospect remains unphased by the hype and attention.
"Heavyweight boxing is dangerous and brutal, my opponent doesn't care who's watching, he's there to take my head off, I need to be focused on doing the same
"I was born to fight and I need to get the job done in clinical fashion end of story."
The power punching Heavyweight prospect's been well received by Australian fight fans who are intrigued to see if he can lived up to the high praise for four-time world champion and promotor Green.
"I hope people will see what I saw, an explosive, raw, hungry guy, that's like a V8, purring and ready to lay some rubber on that strip."
