New Zealand Fringe Festival 2016 registrations open 27 August!

The NZ Fringe Festival is set for 12 February – 5 March 2016 and registrations for shows and events open via the website (www.fringe.co.nz) on 27 August and close on 8 October 2015.

For three weeks during February and March, this annual open-access arts festival features over 1,000 artists from around New Zealand and the world, including world premieres, new artists and established companies with original, cutting edge art. Over 100 events are staged all over the city - in established venues, homes, galleries, cafes, bars, street corners and parks.

The NZ Fringe Festival welcomes anyone wishing to present work in any art form to register as part of the festival. Whether contemporary, or classic, diverse work in all forms is what makes it fringe, there are no limits, no constraints – audio / podcast, busking, cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, improvisation, music, physical theatre, poetry, puppetry, spoken word / story telling, theatre, visual & digital art… #nofilter
