New Zealand to host 2016/17 Pacific League World Cup
Dressage Final
Dressage followers are
celebrating with the news that New Zealand is hosting the
2016/2017 Pacific League World Cup Final.
It was 1998
when the nation last hosted the league final, and the
announcement comes after a joint agreement with
Australia.
“This is exciting news,” says Equestrian Sports New Zealand chief executive Vicki Glynn.
The final
will be held Manfeild Park’s indoor arena in Feilding,
from February 2-4, 2017, in conjunction with the Bates
National Championships.
The news has also been welcomed
by ESNZ Dressage Board chair Karen Trotter.
“The possibility to host the final here after nearly two decades will be a fantastic opportunity for the increasing numbers of New Zealand based Grand Prix riders to experience the thrill of competing in a FEI Pacific League World Cup Final,” says Ms Trotter.
“We hope Australian riders will support the event and we look forward to welcoming them to New Zealand for what will be a world-class event.”

Grand Prix combinations
“It promises to a great event
in a proven venue to showcase the
sport.”
