“You've arrived on a rather special night. It's one of the master's affairs...”
In celebration of the 40th year anniversary of the most infamous spine tingling, foot shaking and pelvic thrusting cult status musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Va-Va-Voom Productions and Cassette Nine have joined forces to bring you a night of debauchery, entertainment and dancing a plenty on All Hallow’s Eve with ‘A Very Rocky Horror Halloween’.
As you creep up the stairs of Cassette Nine with baited breath, you’ll find yourself transported to Frank-n-Furters Transylvanian mansion. As the clock strikes 8.00pm, you’ll be indulged with a cabaret show featuring burlesque, drag, pole, magic, comedy, roving performers and plenty of audience interaction (and dancing) inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The Transylvanians entertaining you in the cabaret are Chris Olwage, - A Dancer in Drag, Lilly Loca - Drag King & Vaudevillian, Ivan the Red - A Fire-Wielder, Michelle Kasey - A High Flying Pole Performer, Madam Mutiny - A Enigmatic Burlesque Siren, Vola Tile & Ms. Ruby Rebel - A Sexy, Seductive Burlesque Duo, MC Logan Kitney - A Comic Magician Extraordinaire.
But wait! The night is young, and there is more dancing to be done. Once the cabaret festivities are finished, the hauntingly good DJ Murry Sweetpants will have you toe-tapping and booty shaking the night away with your fellow Transylvanians, un-dead folk and monster mashers.
Tickets are $10.00 on the door. No pre-sales. We recommend you arriving early for festivities to ensure you don’t miss out.
Prizes for best dressed. Dress up is encouraged. Themed teapots and cocktails will be available for purchase.
Official event photography will be provided by Disco Cult.
We recommend BodyFX for all Halloween make-up and prosthetic supplies.
