The latest edition of New Zealand’s free football magazine
The latest edition of New Zealand’s free football magazine, FANZ, is now available.
The digital magazine, published by the Friends of Football, has features on the future of the ASB Premiership and the growing popularity of football among Maori and Pacific Island children, as well as regular columnists.
FANZ reveals the finalists in this year’s football media awards, in which the country’s best writers, photographers and broadcasters will be honoured, and previews the upcoming Friends of Football tribute to All Whites legends Steve Sumner and Brian Turner.
Sumner and Turner will receive the Friends of Football’s Medal of Excellence at a dinner to be held on Friday November 6 at the Auckland Grammar Old Boys’ Pavilion, Epsom.
The dinner will also stage the media awards, revealing the winners in each category.
Last year’s dinner, at the same venue, was a sell-out affair with guest appearances from All Whites coach Anthony Hudson, NZ Football chief executive Andy Martin and a tribute to long-serving All White Ivan Vicelich.
FANZ is a 44-page full-colour digital magazine that is the official publication of Friends of Football. It publishes at least three times a year and is available free by downloading it at http://issuu.com/hurricanepress/docs/fanz_final_4 .
