Diwali Festival of Lights 2015 returns to Wellington

Diwali Mela (festival) day

· diverse cuisine from 18 vegetarian food stalls

· more than 20 Indian retail and information stalls,

· Workshops and presentations on Indian Culture,

· Painting and Rangoli exhibition on Indian culture

· Puppet show from Ahmedabad, India

· International folk dance performances from Mudra Creations -
Maharashtra, India

· Local and regional classical, folk, fusion and Bollywood
performances and more………

The event concludes at 9.30 pm with a spectacular finale with a countdown to
a colourful display of Fireworks from a barge by the Wellington waterfront.
