Domino’s Pizza Serves a Slice of the Profits to Youthline

Domino’s Pizza Serves a Slice of the Profits to Youthline

Domino’s Pizza and Youthline have raised $30,000 with their first nationwide Doughraiser held in all 91 Domino’s During the five hour Doughraiser event each store donated $1 from every pizza sold to their partner Youthline, which when combined with generous supplier donations to top it up, came to a grand total of $30,000.

New Zealand General Manager, Scott Bush said “This new partnership we have established with Youthline has been such a pleasure to be part of. Youthline are an amazing organisation who really do change lives. We have many great initiatives in place with Youthline, but ultimately we wanted to raise some serious money for them.

“We thought our customers would get behind this event especially for a good cause like Youthline but we have been overwhelmed by the level of support.

“It seems the Youthline brand is going strong with New Zealanders, and after 45 years I can’t even begin to fathom how many of our customers have been helped by Youthline."

The funds will help Youthline develop, deliver and expand their new GoForward suite: online tools designed for youth support and personal development.

"This has been such a fun and easy event to take part in," says Youthline Marketing, Information Services and Communications Manager, Briana Hill.

"We gave the country an opportunity to get involved and have some fun while doing it, and they backed us in a big way - from corporate bodies, to families to individuals. The reminder that there is a community and a country who cares deeply about the work we are doing is incredibly motivating."

Mr Bush added “Testament to the amazing work Youthline do, we had a number of suppliers and partners involved with the success of this event. As soon as you mention the Youthline brand companies are signing on to help. “

Domino’s Pizza plan to make it an annual event and have already set a target to raise even more money next year and Youthline are excited about that challenge.
