Auckland City Limits Sells Its $99 Tickets in Minutes

With the reaction to yesterday’s first lineup announcement headlined by superstar rapper Kendrick Lamar it was no surprise that it took only minutes for the inaugural Auckland City Limits festival to sell out a special release of $99 Super Early Bird tickets this morning.
Thousands of people had signed up for a chance to get their hands on what was effectively a half price ticket to the 19 March event at Western Springs. The $99 tickets went on sale at 9am today and were gone in minutes.
The festival's next release of early bird tickets, priced at $179.50, goes on sale at 9am on Friday along with VIP tickets and Air New Zealand grabaseat ticket and flight packages from www.ticketmaster.co.nz and www.grabaseat.co.nz
