HPSNZ extends condolences to family of Laurent Vidal
High Performance Sport New Zealand CEO Alex Baumann has extended his condolences to the family of French Olympic triathlete Laurent Vidal, the coach and fiancé of Kiwi triathlete Andrea Hewitt.
“The thoughts of the High Performance Sport New Zealand family are with Laurent’s family and his fiancée Andrea Hewitt at this tragic time,” says Baumann.
“Laurent was an outstanding triathlete and rising coach with a strong connection to New Zealand. His loss will be felt across the sporting world today and into the future.”
