Shihad and Villainy Live
Shihad and Villainy Live
11 December 2015
KING STREET LIVE - MASTERTON
It’s been a big year for Shihad. They’ve celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first gold album, Killjoy with a cracking remastered reissue of the hard rocking classic and they’ve beenannounced as finalists tonight in the 2015 NZ Music Awards for album of the year and best rock album for their latest album, FVEY, as well as best group.
December sees Shihad once again open for AC/DC both in Wellington and Auckland. Shihad has opened for the legendary Aussie rockers for as long as they’ve toured New Zealand, starting back in 1991. And the band’s history with AD/DC goes back even further…it was scrawling AC/DC slogans on the wall that got Jon Toogood and Tom Larkin chucked out of school, just after the two future bandmates first met.
And now just announced ….. a very special warm up show.
