WESTFEST 2016 - Saturday 30th January 2016

WESTFEST 2016 - Saturday 30th January 2016

WESTFEST 2016 christens the little town just nor west of Auckland, Kumeu in 2016 with a sonic tonic of highly bi-onic Punk Rock action.

The fruit bowl of Auckland welcomes back NOFX, the first and long awaited appearance of Swedish punk & hardcore legends REFUSED, as well as the return of hardcore heavy-metal-weights HATEBREED, and a reunion of local legends THE BLEEDERS, with Antagonist A.D.,Saving Grace, Dawn Of Azazel, Stonehurst, and For All Eternity.

This show is ALL AGES.

This is how the west will be won!

While devoid of the metal mania associated with the two previous Westfests, Westfest 2016, is the punk rock little brother of Westfest that demands the party continues, no matter the obstacles!

NOFX have been regular visitors here in the last twenty years. Led by Fat Mike of Fat WreckChords, NOFX bring the punk rock party like no other band. Swedish legends REFUSEDhave always had a following in New Zealand. Led by the James Brown of punk Denis Lyxzen, they hail from the Swedish punk rock town of Umea. They reunited in 2012, even though they vowed this would never happen after their initial break up. The Bleeders return to a NZ stage after a long overdue absence which saw their members scattered around the planet.
