The Wellington Blaze Announce an Unchanged Team for
50-Over Final
The Wellington Blaze team has been
announced to play in the Women’s Domestic 50-Over
Competition final against host province, Auckland this
coming Saturday.

The travelling squad is unchanged from
that selected to play in last week’s round against Otago.
Sophie Devine, Rachel Priest, Liz Perry and Eimear
Richardson provide the team with considerable International
cricketing experience and the inclusion of promising
Tasmanian all-rounder, Erin Burns, brings further depth and
balance to the group.
The Blaze reached the One-day finals after finishing second to Auckland in the Round-robin competition. Whilst the team has won 3 out of the last 7 Twenty:20 finals it has been 12 years since Wellington took out the 50-over competition jointly with Canterbury.
