4WD Trials, Giveaways and More To Be At 2016 Northland Field Days

Northland Field Days There will be plenty for people to do see and experience at this years Northland Field Days from March 3 to 5 in Dargaville say organisers.

Exhibitors are pulling out all the stops to get plenty of things to win and do according to Northland Field Days president, Lew Duggan who says anybody attending the event between March 3 and 5 has a good chance of walking away with something really special.

Northland Toyota will be building a new and improved 4WD track next to their site this year to show off their brand new line of Toyota Hiluxe’s in real world conditions.

Northland Toyota sales consultant Nigel Gilmour says people trying out a new model Toyota Hilux, FJ Land Cruiser, or Toyota Fortuna on the 4WD course should expect a bumpier ride than last year.

“Customers will experience challenging approach and departure angles right from the passengers seat.”

The company has introduced a full range of Toyota Hiluxs this year, from 2wd work trucks all the way through to high spec 4WD Hiluxs says Nigel who is excited for Northlanders to see a brand new range of Hiluxs.

“We’ve been working on the new range for five years so it will be exciting to let people see them live”

“We are most excited by our new 2WD Hilux’s which have the same level of ground clearance as our 4WD models.”

Attendees will also get one chance a day to win their weight in meat thanks to a competition organised by media organisation NZME and farm supply manufacturer Tru-Test.

Tru-Test scales will be set up at the site with all attendees getting the chance to stand on scales and win their weight in meat.

Tru-Test and the Northland Field Days committee also plan to auction off items on site in what has become a great chance for farmers to get great deals on fencing and other animal handling equipment.

Held in Dargaville, two and a half hours Northwest of Auckland, 40 minutes west of Whangarei and one hour South of Kaikohe the Northland Field Days is a fun three-day event from March 3 to March 5.
