Wellington’s iconic jazz band THE RODGER FOX BIG BAND with MICHAEL HOUSTOUN have been nominated for the 2016 Jazz Tui for the Best Jazz Album of the Year.
There ground breaking CD “ CONCERTI” gain a 5 star review from Jack Bowers from All About Jazz.
The names The Rodger Fox Big Band and Michael Houstoun have been synonymous with New Zealand music for many years.
Rodger Fox and his big band have performed with an enviable array of national and international artists. They’ve also won numerous awards for their recording, including four Best Album Tui’s. Rodger has also been at the forefront of jazz education in New Zealand and teachers for New Zealand School of Music at Victoria University.
