NZ Championship Endurance 2016 - Championshi Points
NZ Championship Endurance 2016.
What an amazing weekend, Thanks to everyone for the comradery, the sharing of parts, fuel, stories and teams. This is how we want to go racing.
The facilities at Hampton Downs were fantastic and we look forward to seeing further developments when we are back in July for the 2nd round of the North Island series.
"That's racing" statement happened for a few teams, but I know you will all have your cars back in working order soon.
Congratulations go to all our winners for both the championship rounds of the 1 and 3 hour and to our new drivers and cars in the 1 hour open class.click the link below to see your results.
And congratulations to the North Island for retaining the North South trophy.
It was also announced on Saturday night that between NIERDC and SIERDC we have secured the rights to run the championship series for the next 6+2+2 years. Through working together and creating not only a successful series in each Island through combined rules, we will now continue to provide the same format for the championship. At the NIERDC AGM held on Sunday morning, got the quorum of 15, just, all proposed remits were approved, therefore confirming we are aligned with the South Island.
The AGM approved a increase of the 2016/17 membership fees to be increased to $100.00 per driver giving us a bit more cash for food and social occasions, still exceptional value. Memberships are due for renewal at the end of march this year, forms on NIERDC site.
