Artist Talk: Joseph Michael, Jon Baxter and Puck Murphy
2 April 2016
11.30am at the Pah Homestead, TSB Bank Wallace Arts Centre
Join artists Joseph Michael, Jon Baxter and Puck Murphy to discuss the artworks featured in Scape.
They will explain the context of the exhibition and the links between the artists and artworks on display, also referencing the wider scope of their practice.
Scape features three fully immersive, multi layered responses to the landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand in its most untamed and magnificent form by Joseph Michael + Michael Hodgson, Olivier Jean, Jon Baxter and Puck Murphy.
Bringing together images, video and sound, Scape explores the connections we have to our surroundings and the way, whether emotionally, biologically or culturally driven, these connections inform our experiences with the land.
