Trump billboard resurrected
Trump billboard resurrected
On the
Thursday before Easter the billboard outside St Luke's
Presbyterian Church, Remuera, was stolen. This billboard
depicted Donald Trump holding a hammer, and a crucified
Jesus in the background. The caption read, "I don't like
losers." The thieves took not only the sign but the backing
board as well.
Today, the billboard of Donald and Jesus is again outside St Luke's. With the help of numerous 'angels' of goodwill a new board and sign were 'resurrected'.
There is a lot of goodwill in the community towards the message of thisbillboard. Who Mr Trump seems to think of as a 'winner' is quite different from the values of Jesus and many of Jesus' followers.
