9am Friday 8 April
For immediate release.
Drinks writer and restaurateur Jules van Cruysen's project Aotearoa Nouveau has just passed $10,000 in funding on the crowd funding platform Kickstarter, halfway to the $20,000 goal.
Aotearoa Nouveau is van Cruysen's second book project to be funded by Kickstarter. Readers will be able to discover the most exciting, cutting-edge wine producers in New Zealand and van Cruysen says "it is an exploration of where the New Zealand wine industry has come from, where we are at now and where we are going".
His first Kickstarter project, BREWED: A Guide to the Craft Beer of New Zealand secured $20,000 of funding via Kickstarter, the campaign raising 133% of the original goal. BREWED was published by Potton & Burton in September 2015, has received significant acclaim, and is currently in its second print run.
Backers are able to
pledge from $1 to be part of van Cruysen's latest book
project. Aotearoa Nouveau's Kickstarter campaign finishes
on April 21 at
6:30pm.
