Exclusive Art Exhibition at Prefab Hall
On May the 4th, an exclusive exhibition at one of Wellington’s newest venues, Prefab Hall, will feature around forty artworks from twenty especially handpicked New Zealand artists. The exhibition launches the 2016 NZ Art Show and is reserved for Friends and sponsors of the shows.
‘The Friends and Sponsors are important to the NZ Art Show and this is our way of thanking them for their valuable contribution,’ says Carla Russell, Executive Director of the NZ Art Show.
The participating artists comprise previous NZ Art Show award recipients, some of the shows long-running top performing artists and some promising new artists.
‘By showcasing some of the show’s top artists the launch will be a fitting tribute to our benefactors,’ says Russell.
Prefab Hall is the convention centre attached to Wellington’s premier café owned by former owners of L’Affare Café, Jeff Kennedy and Bridget Dunn.
