As the Burger King ‘Road to the Title’ nears its ultimate conclusion Kiwis now have the opportunity to be in Joseph Parker’s corner, literally.
Today, Burger King launches ‘Joe’s Corner’ a website where supporters can enter their name and messages of support for the Kiwi Heavyweight Champion. All names will be printed on the corner pad of Joseph’s corner. So, Kiwis will literally have Joseph’s back. The messages of support will be posted on the walls of Joe’s dressing room so he can read them before his big fight.
James Woodbridge, CMO - Burger King New Zealand, says, “There has been a huge ground swell of support for Joseph over the past 12 months, and now we’re creating the opportunity for the country to get behind our heavyweight champion. With ‘Joe’s Corner’ we can all be in his corner for the upcoming World Elimination fight.”
Burger King will capture every name entered and print these onto the corner pad where Joe will sit between rounds in his Title Eliminator fight on May 21st. The website is live for the next seven days.
“This is an awesome idea that lets me thank all my fans in New Zealand and around the world,” says Joseph Parker.
Joseph Parker will fight Carlos Takam at the Vodafone Events Centre in Manukau on May 21st. The winner will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF World Heavyweight Title.
