Prizegiving Release Album ‘No Harm Done’

Prizegiving Release Album ‘No Harm Done’

No Harm Done, the debut album from refreshing Wellington emo pop band prizegiving (née Tuff Wizard) is out today. Totalling a concise 18 minutes, the 9 track album manages to pack all sorts of punches, ending with the crushing and beautiful Favourite Singer.

Recorded at the all ages institution The Stomach in Palmerston North with Cameron Wilkes, No Harm Done is a reassuring telling of honest experiences. With a general theme of working through failure, the songs are upbeat and also melancholy, about social experiences and relationships good and bad, and how to feel when you’re growing up but still making music. All up, the album is “guaranteed to hit you in all the right 'feels' spots” - Noisey.

No Harm Done is out now on bandcamp.
Tapes from Papaiti and Sleepover Records (USA).
Available from Flying Out and streaming services from July.
