Royal Scots Dragoon Guards tour -- CANCELLED
Royal Scots Dragoon Guards tour cancelled
Promoters' Statement
It is with disappointment that the promoters of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards tour of New Zealand announce that it will not be going ahead as scheduled.
"Unexpected organisational changes within their UK administration have greatly affected the NZ dates of the Pipes and Drums of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards tour announced two weeks ago," say the promoters.
"Despite extensive efforts to overcome unforeseen issues we have been forced to cancel the tour.
"We deeply regret this development as the band, who have successfully toured NZ twice in the past, have a huge and respected following in this country.
"We are hopeful of renegotiating dates when the Guards are again able to tour in the future.”
