The Academy Galleries have a great selection of original artwork to choose from to spoil mum this Sunday. At the Academy’s shop ‘Make’ you’ll find jewellery, ceramics, handmade silk and woollen scarves, and a great selection of paintings and sculptures – perfect gifts for mum!! And if you’re having trouble choosing we also sell gift vouchers.

If you’re taking mum out for something special this Sunday consider a visit to the galleries. It’s a good opportunity to have a look at our current show ‘Solo 42’ which showcases the work of 11 very talented artists – everything from portraiture to neo-impressionism to glassworks.

The Academy Galleries at 1 Queens Wharf, Wellington, open daily from 10 am – entry is free.
