With one month to go, new Hiakai Hangi event announced today
Plus second release of Bank of Melbourne World’s Longest Lunch tickets
Polynesian culture and culinary traditions will be celebrated at the 2018 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne (16-25 March), with prominent NZ born and raised chefs taking part in a Hangi.
On sale today, Hiakai Hangi will see diners enjoy canapés while the Hangi is lifted from the earth before sitting down to a family style dinner on the grounds of Melbourne Museum at dusk on Sunday 18 March. The four-course menu will be matched with Victorian wines from NZ born producers.
