Extreme winds forecasted for Waterbourne
Saturdays weather forecast in Wellington will provide epic winds for windsurfers and kiteboarders competing at New Zealand’s premier extreme water-sports event Waterbourne, giving event-goers a thrilling spectacle.
Due to the extreme winds, the Paddle for Hope charity race will be moved from Saturday 31st March to Friday 30th March at 1pm, however SUP racing will continue throughout the three-day event.
The Waterbourne event will run from March 30th-April 1st, including the free Waterbourne Beach Party on Saturday 31st March at Eastbourne’s Bishop Park with live music acts, food and drinks, and market stalls.
